While providing assistance with tasks is important, it is equally crucial that participants feel empowered and engage in capacity-building activities to develop the skills necessary to navigate various aspects of daily living . Nurses Avenue prioritizes an autonomous lifestyle for our participants by working closely with participants to identify their developmental goals and provide tailored support. Our support workers have a broad range of backgrounds and interests, and we work to match these with the needs and interests of our clients,, helping them achieve their goals. Our services encompass: -Action and Goal Planning for independence -Developing skills in areas including hygiene, communication, independent living -Encouragement and participation in daily activities including transport, problem solving
